FleishmanHillard achieves EY National Equality Standard re-accreditation

In 2020, FleishmanHillard became the first PR agency in the country to achieve the EY National Equality Standard (NES) accreditation, and today are pleased to announce re-accreditation by EY after a rigorous assessment process.

The EY NES – developed in collaboration with the UK Government and CBI – stands for a period of three years and is the UK’s leading DE&I standard. Receiving the accreditation is a recognition of the commitment FleishmanHillard has made to becoming the most inclusive agency in the country.

The process requires an organisation to demonstrate and evidence their compliance against 35 NES competencies, ranging from recruitment and talent processes, through to governance and accountability for DE&I, and supplier relationships. It gives both an indication of areas of strength and crucially, where more work is required in order to truly embed a DE&I culture fully into the organisation.

Antoinette Willcocks, Director and Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for FleishmanHillard (UK), commented: “There really is no stone left unturned as part of the accreditation process. We know we’ve done the work – and feel incredibly proud about the progress we’ve made – but we also know that in the pursuit of our vision to be the most inclusive agency in the country, we have to keep pushing and challenging ourselves to do more and do better.

“Achieving the re-accreditation is recognition that the strides we’ve taken to date have moved us in the right direction but the work is far from done. As we continue to embed a culture of DE&I into all areas of our business, our work with EY will be an invaluable guide to us on the next stage of our inclusion journey.”
