FleishmanHillard expands its crisis communications capabilities with new senior appointment

FleishmanHillard UK has boosted its crisis communications capabilities with the appointment of director, Nic Daley.

Nic joins the crisis team working alongside Judith “Jud” Moore, senior partner and EMEA crisis lead. He brings a vast amount of crisis experience to FleishmanHillard, having managed high-profile court cases, FTSE cyber-attacks, and highly sensitive reputational challenges in the UK and globally.

FleishmanHillard UK has continued to build its expertise in crisis comms over recent years and has seen significant growth, particularly around cyber response where the agency is on several insurer and legal panels, providing consultancy to organisations who experience an incident or breach.

Over the last twelve months, a significant focus of the team’s work in this space has been advising clients on all aspects of reputation and crisis communications in the aftermath of ransomware attacks – a growing operational and reputational risk for all businesses.

In addition to cyber incident response, the team advise clients on a broad range of reputational issues and crises ranging from High Court litigation and Public Inquiries to product recalls and workplace/culture issues. The team also counsel several companies on a retained basis.

Jud Moore, senior partner and EMEA crisis lead comments: “Nic has an impressive track record in crisis comms, both in terms of preparation and response, advising clients on a broad range of reputational challenges from ransomware incidents to crises of culture and high-profile court cases.

I am delighted he has joined FleishmanHillard and I’m sure he will be a huge asset to the team as we seek to further build on our success in the crisis space.”
