FleishmanHillard joins founding sponsors of PR school Socially Mobile

FleishmanHillard UK is proud to be a founding partner and get behind the launch of community interest company (CIC) and PR school, Socially Mobile.

Opened today (10th November) for candidate applications for its first cohort of students in January 2022. Its courses are designed to enhance the career prospects of its students and create a pipeline of talent to make the public relations industry more representative and diverse.

Socially Mobile is a not-for-profit PR school, co-founded by Sarah Waddington CBE and Stephen Waddington of Wadds Inc., delivering free training courses to PR practitioners from under-represented and under-served groups including Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority practitioners, women returners and those with disabilities.

Co-founder Sarah Waddington CBE said, “Opening up to our very first students is a big moment and we hope to make a significant difference to people’s career prospects through this important industry intervention. Stephen and I are incredibly grateful to everyone who has given their time, expertise and funding to make Socially Mobile a reality. Now we have just one more ask: if you know someone who could benefit, please make sure they find out about the course and apply.”
