Marshall is a globally-minded communications and marketing leader with more than 25 years of experience advising business on communications strategy and execution.

As UK CEO, Marshall oversees a team of 250 communications professionals and advises our clients on their most significant challenges.

Marshall has worked across a range of sectors, with particular experience in energy, travel, property, retail, financial services, consumer goods, healthcare, and technology.

Previously, Marshall was a partner at Brunswick where he created and helped lead the firm’s global strategic communications planning community, developing long-term communications solutions and delivering unconventional creative ideas for clients. Marshall also built and led Brunswick’s Digital specialism in the UK, Europe, Africa, India and other key markets.

At Brunswick, Marshall had a particular specialism is executive communications, advising and writing for dozens of CEOs, CFOs, and other business leaders on how to engage with their key stakeholders more authentically and effectively.

Before joining Brunswick, Marshall was UK CEO of Ogilvy Public Relations and EMEA Managing Director of Social, Digital and Content for Ogilvy & Mather. At Ogilvy, Marshall developed communications strategies clients including for British Airways, BP, Safaricom, and many others. Marshall led or co-led several WPP client teams, managing integration communications and marketing activities for key clients.

Prior to Ogilvy, Marshall was EMEA Managing Director of Digital for Edelman, where he advised clients like Diageo, the BBC, BAE Systems, and Unilever on digital strategy and execution.

Before that, Marshall worked in U.S. political campaigns for ten years where he wrote speeches, TV and radio ads, and other communications for candidates and elected officials.

Marshall has lived in London since 2008 and became a British citizen in 2015. He is an enthusiastic if not very gifted photographer, and is interested in history, politics, travel, and food.
